What We're Looking For
The CAPPA Convening 2026 is our first in-person gathering since 2022.
Two days at Drexel University in Philadelphia where 125 perinatal professionals come together to learn, connect, and grow the impact of this work.
We're looking for speakers who can teach a session that sends attendees home with knowledge, language, or tools they can use the Monday after they fly back.
The strongest sessions are specific, practical, grounded in genuine expertise, and delivered by someone who cares as much about the people in the room as the material.

→ Clinical and hands-on perinatal skills
→ Business and practice-building
→ Sustainability and burnout prevention
→ Field trends and research
→ Equity and trauma-informed care in perinatal care
→ Trainer or educator development
You do not need to be a CAPPA member to apply. You need something worth teaching and the ability to teach it well.
Before applying, please review the requirements for speaking at the Convening.
Applications close end of day May 27. Speakers notified May 29. The window is firm — the program finalizes in early June.
Selected Convening Speakers Commit to:
✓ One in-person session at Drexel University, July 30 or 31, 2026 — format and length confirmed at onboarding
✓ Speaker onboarding — providing a headshot, bio, and session description for the program and website, plus reviewing logistics and brand guidelines
✓ A slide deck in advance, built to CAPPA's brand template, due 2–3 weeks before the event
✓ An advance virtual recording of your session (or consent to record your live session) for CAPPA's online-access library — confirmed at onboarding
✓ Light promotion — sharing your participation using a speaker kit we provide
Selected CAPPA Convening 2026 speakers receive:
⁕ A dedicated speaker announcement post on CAPPA's Instagram + Facebook
⁕ Inclusion in CAPPA's LinkedIn speaker lineup feature
⁕ A feature in at least one CAPPA email broadcast to the Convening list
⁕ Name, photo, bio, and a link to your business website on the Convening website + event program
⁕ A speaker share kit (captions + branded graphics) to promote yourself
⁕ A live in-person speaking slot at Drexel University, July 30–31
⁕ The chance to promote one offer at the end of your session (under 5 minutes, relevant, with a specific benefit for the CAPPA audience)
