CAPPA Recertification

Recertification

In order to remain certified by CAPPA, you must keep a continuous membership and renew your certification every three years from the original date you were certified. In order for candidates to be eligible for CAPPA re-certification they must sign and agree to the following forms- Code of Conduct and Social Media Policy, Grievance Policy, Mission Statement, CAPPA Approach / Philosophy Statement, Vision Statement, and Scope of Practice. The recertification fee for every program is $75.00, and the requirements for each program are listed below. Please be advised that CAPPA policies and prices may be changed or adjusted at any time.

Please allow approximately four weeks for CAPPA to process your recertification materials once we receive them. CAPPA receives a high volume of recertification requests, and each request is given individual attention. Upon successful completion of any of the CAPPA recertification requirements, you will receive a CAPPA certificate of recertification.

A 'Rush Fee' of $ 50.00 may be submitted along with your packet if you require a quicker turnaround; with a rush fee you can expect no more than one week for your recertification packet to be reviewed.

Note: All time frames above refer to open business days.
