Innovative Childbirth Education Teaching Points
Taught by Polly Perez
Teaching skills in a prenatal setting is an important way to effect birth outcomes positively. It is important that all those employed in the maternity care setting, not just childbirth educators, work together. The teaching of skills and techniques may take place in prenatal clinics, primary caregiver's offices, school-based teen pregnancy programs, and prenatal education classes. Those that work in these settings will be able to do this more effectively with the information provided in this session. Techniques taught in this session will give educators more options from which to choose when teaching about childbirth.
